Brett Broesder / Of Council

Brett Broesder is a veteran marketing, media relations, policy, crisis
communications, and advertising expert with nearly fifteen years of
experience tackling high-profile private sector and public-sector

Brett’s experiences include founding and running a successful
strategic communications consultancy, serving as a communications
advisor for several successful statewide political candidates in
Connecticut — including Ned Lamont for Governor, Susan Bysiewicz for
Lieutenant Governor, and Shawn Wooden for State Treasurer — and
working as a spokesperson, as well as the head of new media and
communications, for the City of Hartford, Connecticut, and Bridgeport,

Brett has also served as an executive at two non-profit organizations,
head of communications for the Montana Democratic Party, director of
policy and legislation for the Rhode Island Office of Attorney
General, and a media relations specialist at H+K Strategies and
Ketchum. In addition, he’s served in a variety of management, press,
and organizing roles on political and issue advocacy campaigns across
the country at the local, state, and federal levels.

He is a graduate of Rhode Island College.
