Linda D'Amario Rossi / Of Counsel

Linda brings decades of experience serving at the cabinet level in the public child welfare, juvenile justice and children’s mental health sectors for governors in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Texas and Maryland. Her innovative work won national attention by the U.S. Attorney General, and has been praised by editorial writers at the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun and Providence Journal. Prior to joining Advocacy Solutions, Linda worked for 10 years at the Public Consulting Group in Boston focused on marketing and government relations, and most recently served on Governor Gina Raimondo’s 2014-2015 Transition Team.

Linda was the first woman in 90 years to become a board member and president of the Board of Directors for the Aurora Civic Association in Rhode Island, and was the first Rhode Islander appointed to the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation in Baltimore. She also serves as the chair of the Boston University Law School Judge Angelo H. Rossi Memorial Scholarship Committee, established in memory of her late husband, and is the president of Tides Family Services Board of Directors.

Linda holds an M.S. in Social Work Administration from the Boston University School of Social Work, and a B.S. Degree in Child Development/Sociology from the University of Rhode Island. She also completed the University of Pennsylvania Strategic Management Program, and is a Senior Executive Fellow of the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government.
